Indiana Voters Casting Ballots

The road to the White House runs through the Hoosier state today.

While the Democratic Party nomination is pretty much a given, there’s still a hotly contested race on the Republican side.

Brandon Rottinghaus at the University of Houston says Donald Trump is expected to win and that will pretty much assure he gets the nomination.

But don’t expect Ted Cruz to throw in the towel on his campaign. Rottinghaus says even if Cruz can split the delegates, it will give his campaign the boost it needs.

Rottinghaus says Cruz’s contested convention talk isn’t having much impact on voters and doing little to harm Cruz’s reputation as a “by the book” guy.
