Judson Football Star Arrested

A star Judson High School football player, on his way to play at Texas A&M, arrested Tuesday morning.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says a woman filed a criminal complaint against Alton Robinson on Monday.

“Last week, she was arguing with her ex-boyfriend, Alton Robinson,” BCSO’s James Keith said. “She said she had just come home from a local store, it was around 11:15 at night, and she found Robinson hiding in some bushes near her driveway.”

The woman tried to go inside when “she said that Robinson ripped off her purse, took it off her shoulder,” Keith said.

He ran off. She chased after him. Keith said she told investigators that Robinson dropped the purse, but took her cell phone.

“According to her, this is not the first time that a similar incident has occurred,” Keith said. “She said back in May of 2015, same scenario, she comes home, it’s late, he approaches her car and takes her purse.”

He said Robinson was arrested Tuesday morning on one felony Robbery charge.
