By Bill O’Neil

Another big honor for San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard.

For a second year in a row, Leonard has been named to the All-NBA First Team.

Leonard is the third player to receive two All-NBA First Team selections and twice win the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award.

An All-Star starter for a second straight year, Leonard averaged a career high 25.5 points this past season with 3.5 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game. He also put up his personal best free throw shooting percentage.

Leonard’s honor marks the 20th consecutive season the Spurs have had a player named to an All-NBA Team.
