  Airs: M-F, 4pm - 7pmJeff Koch joined KTSA in January 2008. His broadcasting career began in 1978 as news director for a radio station in New Mexico. He moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 1980, doing sports and news for both radio and television, and joined KURV 710 TalkRadio in April of 1997 as sports director. Jeff is a four-time winner of the Best Sportscast Award and a Best Anchor Team award presented by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters (TAPB) and currently serves as Chairman of the TAPB Board of Directors. His television experience includes serving as sports director and executive producer at KGBT-TV in Harlingen for 11 years. Related experience includes high school and college football and basketball play-by-play, speaker and emcee for numerous charitable, civic, and educational events, and freelance commercial writer/on-air talent.
