Lightning Blamed For Early Morning Fire

A far Northwest Bexar County family is picking up the pieces in the aftermath of Thursday Morning’s storms.

“An investigator went out to the home this morning–and he did confirm with the National Weather Service lightning was in the area” Bexar County’s Laura Jesse told KTSA News, adding “Evidence from the fire leads to that as well.”

Everyone did manage to get out of that home on Cedar Hill Way in Alamo Ranch safely–but Jesse said the home was left in ruins by the flames.

“It’s going to be about a $300 to $400 thousand loss–which is a total loss of the house” Jesse said.
