Man Killed in Southside Shooting

San Antonio Police are searching for a killer after a man is gunned down outside of a Southside home early Tuesday Morning.

It all happened at around 3:30 AM–with 24-year old Richard Sandoval hanging out with family members at a home on Wellington–near I-35 and Pleasanton Road.

“Everybody went inside the house at one point–and, at a certain point, Mr. Sandoval went back outside” SAPD’s Officer Douglas Greene told KTSA News.

A short time later, several shots were fired.

“Thus far, we’re still investigating–but there was one or two vehicles seen fleeing the location” Greene said.

Anyone with any information is urged to call police.
