Mayor Taylor Casts Ballot, Touts Endorsements

By Pilar Arias

San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor spent Monday morning announcing new endorsements and casting her vote at the Claude Black Community Center.

The new supporters announced are: District 6 Councilman Ray Lopez, State Rep. Lyle Larson (R-San Antonio), Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, Precinct 3 Commissioner Kevin Wolff and former Precinct 4 Commissioner Tommy Adkisson.

Taylor believes the group of Republicans and Democrats proves she works for all San Antonians.

“I think it demonstrates the fact that I’ve worked hard to garner support from every part of San Antonio and to bring San Antonians together to advance our interests,” Taylor said.

Taylor also said she was proud to have the support from the San Antonio Police Officers Association.
