Million Dollar Anti-Terror Grant for S.A.

By Don Morgan

With millions of visitors and a rapidly growing population, San Antonio needs to make the extra effort to protect residents and those just passing through.

That’s why the Mayor and Congressman Henry Cuellar have worked to bring in a one million dollar investment from two federal agencies.

Mayor Taylor tells us the recent events in London prove that terrorists are capable of attacking at any given moment in any location.

The money will be used to train Firefighters, Police Officers and other public safety workers on how to handle an attack or any other emergency.

Congressman Henry Cuellar says he worked with the Mayor and City Council members to secure the money.
