Obamacare Repeal Vetoed

Congress sent the President another Obamacare repeal attempt, but he vetoed it.

“Obamacare has proved to be unaffordable for American families and small businesses,” Congressman Will Hurd said. “The Federal Government has no business forcing Americans to buy something against their will.”

Hurd voted to repeal, but the President vetoed the attempt. That measure also would’ve defunded Planned Parenthood, instead sending those federal dollars to community heath centers that provide affordable healthcare, Hurd said.

“The cost-effective and preventative care these clinics offer families in my district is invaluable,” he said.

But though Congress approved the measure, the President said no.
