Man Charged with Improper Photography

A man has been arrested for allegedly using a cell phone to record video up a woman's skirt at a local department store.

A woman told police she was shopping at Burlington Coat Factory at Wonderland of the Americas Mall Monday when a man got next to her and pretended to be checking out items on the bottom shelf.

She told officers she looked down to see the man pointing his cell phone up her skirt.

"It appears he knelt down next to her and pretended to be looking at something on the bottom shelf.  She looked down and saw the cell phone turned toward her skirt," said Balcones Heights Police Chief Henry Dominguez.

She immediately called police, gave them a description and kept an eye on the suspect as he walked toward the nearby Ross store.

"Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that he did, in fact, record up the woman's skirt," said Dominguez.

The suspect is charged with improper photography, which is a state jail felony.
