AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - A federal agency ranks Texas health care
services and delivery as among the worst in the nation.
The state was rated weak or very weak in nine of 12 categories, according to
the scorecard from the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality.
It earned the above average ranking of "strong" in maternal and
child health care measures.
