The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is still looking for one of two brothers charged in a double murder that happened on the city's East side.

Police are still on the hunt for 22-year-old Donderick Walker, who is wanted on capital murder charges for his role in a July 10th shooting at King's Used Cars on North Foster Rd. that killed 31-year-old Larry Williams and 37-year-old Stephen McGowan.

"Thanks to some excellent police work by our homicide detectives and some very close cooperation with the law enforcement agencies in New Orleans, we were able to arrest Doran Walker," said Bexar County Sheriff Amadeo Ortiz.

Doran, Donderick's brother, was arrested on July 15th by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana, where he is currently being held until he can be extradited back to Bexar County.

"After we interviewed a lot of the witnesses at the scene, we identified the two brothers as suspects. Witnesses told us that the victims were friends and associates of some type (with the suspects), and they believe there was some altercation between both of them prior to the shooting," said Lieutenant Martin Molina.

Detectives found out that one of the suspects owned a green Honda that was similar to a vehicle identified at the scene of the crime, and ran the plates through the National Vehicle License Search, which gave them a hit on the car from the Jefferson Parish County Police.

"They (Louisiana officials) went ahead and did surveillance where they suspected the vehicle was traveling to. The suspects did have family in New Orleans, and the vehicle was located at a housing project along with a white Infiniti that was known to be owned by the family as well," said Lieutenant Molina.

After surveillance was done, Bexar County homicide detectives were notified that the vehicle had left the residence with a black male suspect, who ended up being Doran Walker. Police arrested him on a traffic warrant, and took him to the sheriff's office, and impounded his vehicle.

"Upon searching that vehicle in New Orleans, we did discover a plastic gun case (for a .45 caliber handgun), a spent shell casing, and some information pertaining to that gun. The weapon used at the scene was a .45 caliber hand gun," said Lieutenant Molina.

In his interrogation, Doran confessed to the murders and claimed he was the only shooter.

"He implicated that he was alone in the shooting; that his brother was there, but that his brother had no involvement other than being at the location at the time of the shooting," said Lieutenant Molina.

However, detectives found that prior to the shooting verbal altercations had been exchanged between the suspects and the victims via their Twitter pages. Police believe the shooting was a result of some sort of disagreement between them over a theft, in which money and property that was taken from the suspects by the victims.

Bexar County officials said both the prior Twitter altercations, and the fact that the suspects had the gun on them when they went to the crim scene are evidence of pre-meditated murder, and therefore Donderick will also be charged with Capital Murder.

"At this point we have no idea where Donderick is at. We still have Louisiana authorities on the lookout for him. We do not have a warrant on him, we're still trying to cooberate some of the brother's statements and interview some more witnesses before we obtain the second warrant," said Lieutenant Molina.

The murder weapon is still missing, and Donderick is believed to still be in Louisiana, on the run in the family's white Infiniti.
