NEW YORK (AP) - Fans turned out to see "The Dark Knight Rises" in droves this weekend, determined to look beyond the shooting at a midnight showing of the film in Colorado.
Police were visible outside a theater in McAllen, Texas, near the Mexico border, where an officer firmly waved away drivers who attempted to stop in front.
But moviegoer Juan Carlos Rivera said he wouldn't let the shooting interfere with his plans to see the final Batman film.
