EL PASO, Texas (AP) - Actor Sherman Hemsley has died in El Paso
at the age of 74. Police say Hemsley was found dead at his home
yesterday. The Philadelphia-born Hemsley is best known for playing
George Jefferson on the television series "The Jeffersons." The
cause of death is pending.
