The Texas Department of Public Safety is asking the public for help in identifying two Hispanic men who were found shot to death in an irrigation canal in Eagle Pass, Texas on May 22nd.

The Texas Rangers and the Maverick County Sheriff's Office is asking the public on both sides of the border for help in identifying the men, who could very well be from Mexico.

"We have some sketches we were able to obtain. The first Hispanic male is between the ages of 19 and 22 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches in height, and approximately 130 pounds. He had wavy, black hair and brown eyes," Said Jason Reyes, DPS Public Information Officer.

The man also had a barbed wire tattoo on his upper right arm and the letter "A" tattooed on his upper left arm. He was also wearing a rubber wrist band with the words "Germany" and "Brazil" inscribed on it.

"The second individual was between 17 and 19 years of age, about 6 foot tall, approximately 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. His distinctive characteristics is that he had a mole on his left cheek near his ear," said Reyes. "He too was wearing some distinctive jewelry. He was wearing a black string necklace with a small medallion of the Virgin of Guadalupe."

The victims were discovered in an irrigation canal at FM 1588 (also known as Thompson Road) North of Eagle pass. They were shot in the head.

Anyone with information regarding the murders or who can identify the victims is asked to call the Maverick County Sheriffs Office and ask for Armando Guzman at (830) 773-2321, or the Texas Rangers at (830) 703-1202.
