Mayor Julian Castro will be the first Latino and San Antonian to give the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention on September 4th.  He's scheduled to speak right after first lady Michelle Obama on the opening night in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Those close to the mayor say he'll probably travel to some key states with large Hispanic populations to campaign for the President.
