According to AAA Texas, after three straight weeks of increases gas prices in Texas leveled off this week."The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel in Texas remains the same as last week, and continues to be $3.36," said Doug Shupe of AAA Texas.
However, at $3.33 drivers in San Antonio saw a two cent increase at the pump this week.
"But when you look at what drivers were paying last year at this time it's still down quite a bit. Last year drivers in the San Antonio area were paying about $3.58, which was about a quarter more per gallon," said Shupe.
At $3.39, areas around Austin and San Marcos were paying the most for gas this week, while El Paso was paying the least at $3.15.
