The Overseas and military ballots are in and the Precinct One Kendall County Republican Run Off remains tied.
"None of them that would affect the Cimmissioner Precinct One (ballot) were able to be counted" said Kendall County Elections Supervisor Staci Decker. The next step will take place Monday.
"We'll recount every single ballot for that County Commissioenr's Race. Once we determine what tghe results are--whether it stays the same from Election Night--or it changes--will determine exactly what will happen" Decker said.
If the race remains tied adfter Monday's recount, Mike Fincke and Charlie Boyd will each roll a die--with the high roller deciding who wins the contest. Under state law, candidates who are tied followng an automatic recount cast lots to determine a winner.
