Drought-weary residents are probably happy to hear the San Antonio Water System might loosen its water restriction rules.
New rules proposed include expanding year-round watering hours and changing the triggers for restrictions at various drought stages.
Public meetings on the changes are scheduled to start September 6th.  If approved, they could go in effect by the end of the year.
