Drought Restrictions Could Be Dropped

With an increased level of over ten feet in the past few days at Edwards Aquifer, those welcomed recent rains could be reason to end drought restrictions by the end of the year.
San Antonio Water System Communication Manager Ann Hayden says that if we continue to get some periodic rain this Fall, which she believes is likely, there should be even more improvement in aquifer levels.

However, Hayden encourages everyone to remain conservative with water usage.
The level of Medina Lake has not shown much improvement by rising only a few inches during the same recent period.
