Rains Helped Fight Drought

Storms that have dumped more than three inches of water over the weekend are helping San Antonio's drought situation.
But, water source levels are still way below average.  Water officials say the monitoring well for the Edwards Aquifer has risen 13 feet in the past 19 days, bringing it to its highest level since June.
They  say if the area continues to get average rainfall, drought restrictions will move to Stage One, allowing watering with a sprinkler or spray irrigation system anytime before 10:00am or after 8:00pm.... that's on a resident's designated watering day.
