Monarch Butterfly Flying South from SA

A Monarch butterfly is flying south for the winter after taking a two-thousand mile journey from New York to San Antonio Monday.
Maraleen Manos-Jones brought the butterfly to San Antonio after it emerged too late from its chrysalis to fly south.

Southwest Airlines provided the flight for the flying insect and its human companion for free. Manos-Jones says the butterfly should meet up with other Monarch butterflies in Mexico.
