Donations Needed for Gun Shot Victim

The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation needs your help to buy a van for a woman paralyzed after a  tragic event.

Maggie McCombs (21) was crippled by gunshots after an alledged stalker chased her down out front of a fitness club, and shot her and a friend when they were leaving.

"She was coming out of the gymnasium with a young gentleman. The stalker killed the young gentleman and as Maggie ran, she unfortunately fell and the stalker shot her five times," said Gordon Hartman, founder of the Gordon Hartman Foundation.

While Maggie was fortunate enough to survive, the gun shots have left her paralyzed from the chin down and she is in need of a van that is specialized to her needs.

"The van will cost about $50,000. It has to be specially built because of the situation that Maggie is in and the wheelchair that she's in," said Hartman.

The foundation is raising funds to help purchase the van for Maggie in time for Christmas.
