Some tense moments for more than two-dozen Ed White Middle School students--after their bus is involved in a crash while on their way to school Friday Morning. We're told it happened in the 55-hundred block of Walzem--near Midcrown--where a car hit the school bus from behind.
"There were about 26 middle school students onboard--and fortunately, no one aboard our bus was hurt" said Aubrey Chancellor with the North East Independent School District. She said all of the students were loaded aboard another bus--and were taken to school--where they were checked out by nurses just to make sure they were ok.
The driver of the car that hit the bus was transpoerted to the hospital.
