Still climbing--the word from fuel market analysts when it comes to what you're paying right now to fill your gas tank in San Antonio.
But even the five-cent per gallon increase in the average price of regular unleaded can be seen as a mixed bag said Gregg Laskoski with gasbuddy.com.
"Even that is at a much slower rate than what we had seen just a few weeks earlier " Laskoski told 550 KTSA News. He said there may finally be a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel for drivers who have really been feeling that pinch on their wallets.
"The national average only went up by about two-cents per gallon in the past week. And we finally saw an end to a thirty-two day streak where the national average just rose consistently" Laskoski said, adding the price is expected to continue at least a slower climb over the next few weeks. So, could we see $4.00 per gallon gas in San Antonio?
"I don't think we're going to see that in most of Texas" Laskoski said, adding "I think we may see it in a couple of the larger cities. Certainly, we are there in New York, Chicago, and L.A."
