A two-alarm fire, suspected to be intentionally set, was still burning at 6:00 Friday morning.
Just before 2:00 am, fire fighters responded to 5031 West Commerce street at the CD Tire Shop.Deborah Foster of the San Antonio Fire Department tells 550 KTSA News that tires in the storage area were completely engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived.
She says flames quickly spread into the building, followed by subsequent roof collapse.
Damage estimates are undetermined , but it is expected that the building will not be salvageable.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
