A horrific discovery at a westside home, where police say they have found the scene of an apparent double murder and suicide. Three decomposing bodies were found inside a home in the 9600 block of Vale street.
Chief William McManus said San Antonio Police received a call around 8:00 am Thursday to check the well being of the people inside the home.After forced entry, investigators found an elderly man on a chair in the living room, a younger man on the floor, and a woman in bed.
He said no one had seen them during the past 12 days..
Although police have not given a motive, they believe the elderly man pulled the trigger of a rifle, killing all three.
Investigators have not revealed the ages, names or relationship of the victims.
Neighbors believe the woman lived in the home with an older man, perhaps a boyfriend, and that she had a son who visits often.
McManus offered comfort to neighbors, telling them not to be concerned about their safety.
