Even as we keep hearing the push to think about smaller, more fuel efficient cars--General Motors will tell you trucks continue to be the key to the automaker's comeback.
In fact, Greg Martin with General Motors is convinced the 2014 pickup lines will continue that tradition.
"More truck, better fuel economy, and I think our competitors will be shocked with what we do with price and fuel economy" Martin told 550 KTSA News. He said trucks have been crucial in helping the automaker reinvest some $8 billion in The United States in recent years--while creating some 23-thousand new jobs.
"As far as our manufacturing presence in the United States they (trucks) make up a large part of that backbone" Martin said.
