HOUSTON (AP) - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have fallen by a nickel a gallon this week to an average of $3.38 per gallon.
AAA Texas on Thursday reported that the average nationwide gas price dropped 7 cents from last week to $3.53 per gallon.
The association found that Corpus Christi, Amarillo and Beaumont have the cheapest gasoline in Texas at $3.30 per gallon. The most expensive price at the pump was in Dallas, where regular unleaded averaged $3.45 per gallon.
AAA attributes the price drop to the solving of problems at some key refineries.
