$1,000 Reward in Arson Case

by Elizabeth Ruiz

Crime Stoppers and the Bexar County Fire Marshal's office are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects in an arson case in Converse.

Motor Techtronics owner Duke Moradie told 550 KTSA News burglars broke into his business September 12 and set the place on fire.

"They burned my office.  My computer was destroyed," said Moradie.

Law enforcement officers are looking for  a man and two women.

"There was really bad smoke in my office.  Nobody could even walk in, it was so bad," said Moradie.

He believes they were looking for money, but all they found was about $22 and a debit card, which they used to go on a $5,000 shopping spree.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
