Sebelius to Visit S.A.

By Bill O'Neil

The White House is putting the push to enroll in Obamacare on the road--with a big name cabinet member set to make a stop in San Antonio Friday.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told a House panel looking in to the glitches that have plagued the sign up web site she could not find time this week to to testify on Capitol Hill--but she has foudn time to make stops in Austin and San Antonio--where she is expected to raise the program--and talk about ways people can enroll.

According to her agency, Sebelius will be in Austin Friday Morning where she will appear with that city's Mayor. The Secreatry is due in San Antonio in the noon hour--where she's expected to take part in a panel discussion that will also involve Mayor Julian Castro and Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff.
Sebelius' appearance in Texas will come a day after a very testy hearing on Capitol Hill in which contractors were takent o task by lawmakers for the poor performance of the enrollment web site. That hearing also brought a demand for answers from republican Congressman Joe Barton--who expressed frustration over a notice on the site which said consumers should not expect any information they provide to remain private.
