New Airline Arriving at SA Intl

By Bill O'Neil

Add another non-stop Mexican destination to the departures board at San Antonio International Airport--Volaris Airlines first flight will take off later this year.

"They're going to offer non-stop service to Guadalajara-Jalisco starting on December 14th--it's going to be twice a week. We're really excited to have them here" said the Airport's Nora Castro. The flights add to an already busy schedule.

"This is the fifth non-stop flight in to Mexico for San Antonio" Castro said, adding "San Anmtonio is the first Texas city to receice this airline--we're really excited they chose San Antonio."

The addition of Volaris doesn't mean the airport isn't looking to attract more business.

"We're always working with the airlines to try to bring them to San Antonio, and we're always looking to increase our non-stops. This is a great addition to the airlines we already have" Castro said.
