A top White House official close to the rollout of Obamacare gets an earful from two members of the Texas Congressional Delegation during a Capitol Hill hearing.
Among those taking aim at Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Marylin Tavenner was San Antonio Democrat Lloyd Doggett--who wanted to know more about those "Navigators" hired to help people enroll in the program.
"Today is not the first time I've asked for a full report" Doggett said, adding "We've had to set up in San Antonio and Austin our own netowrk to try to make up for what we didn't get in the way of fderal assistance."
Houston area Republican Kevin Brady told Tavenner he's very concerned about those who now find themselves ont he receiving end of cancellation notices on their current coverage plans.
"It's been canceled--they don't have health care--they try to get on the web site unsuccessfully--they don't know if they're enrolled--it's January 1st--they're facing a gap in coverage--what do you tell them?" Brady asked.
"I'm telling you they can call the call center today and we will help them" Tavenner responded.
