Bail for Remainder of S.A. Four

By Bill O'Neil and Don Morgan

After spending nearly two decades behind bars--convicted of crimes they insist they did not commit--the final three of the "San Antonio Four" have been granted bail--as they await the possibility of seeign their convictions vacated--and being granted the right to new trials on allegations they sexually assaulted two young girls during the mid 1990's.

Each of the women was granted a $10,000.00 bond after prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed the scientific testimony upon which they were convicted is no longer reliable.

Defense Attorneys insisted they will continue their fight to clear the women's names--but are pleased with Monday's outcome.

At least one of the alleged victims has publicly recanted her accusations against the women.
