The San Antonio housing market is in some territory it has not seen since the recession began. According to their November numbers, the San Antonio Board of Realtors said the local housing inventory--homes available for sale--is at it's lowest level since 2006--which Board Chairman Steven Gragg told 550 KTSA News is part of an even bigger trend across the market.
"To be our lowest month of inventory in seven years is pretty amazing--and our sales year to date are the highest since 2007" Gragg said.
Many local economists expect an even better year in the San Antonio housing market next year. Gragg said even a small bump up for interest rates won't likely derail that.
