Some positive sgins--mixed with some deep concern--the takeawy from a newly released report on the City of San Antonio's fiscal year 2013 budget.
On the positive side, City Budget Director Maria Villagomez said the City's bottom line looks to be a little bigger.
"We received additional revenue and less spending that has resulted in $13.6 million added to our ending balance" Villagomez said.
That puts the City's reserve at more than $20 million--which City Manager Sheryl Sculley welcomes--with a warning.
"The caution is the net improvement is less than in prior years" Sculley said.
That figure comes with the City slated to work out new collective bargaining agreements with it's police officers and firefighters next year--as the bond agencies take a closer look at San Antonio's AAA rating.
