(San Marcos, Tx) One person is in custody following a bomb threat at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

Texas State students were notified of the threat around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, and authorities said about 300 students were ordered out of the College Inn Residence Hall after a pair of potential explosive devices were found inside a suspocious person's car.

A bomb squad from the Austin Police Department cleared one package that posed no threat, but had to detonate the second as a precaution.

Texas State University Police cleared the campus just before 7:00 a.m central time, and all classes resumed on a normal schedule.

It is not known whether or not the suspect was a student, as no name has been released at this time.

No injuries are reported.
