Could pollution from factories half a world a way be having an impact on our weather in San Antonio? Researchers close to home will tell you the answer is clearly yes.
"Many countries in Asisa--including China and India--their economy has been developing very rapidly" said Texas A&M's Reny Zhang, who told 550 KTSA News booming business there has meant more pollution from factories. Add stagnant winter weather patterns, and Zheng said the situation can only be aggrvated.
"In some cases, the air is not moving very rapidly, so it's not dilluted" Zhang said, adding pollution in some Asisan cities is one-hundred times higher than acceptable limits set by the World Health Organization.
