SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A San Antonio worker helping lead the $325 million expansion of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center has been charged with sharing child pornography.
A federal indictment names 60-year-old Philip Drayden Branson, who was arrested Tuesday in San Antonio. City officials later put out a statement saying Branson was no longer a San Antonio municipal employee.
Branson has been charged with transportation of child pornography. Prosecutors accuse him of sharing at least four sexually explicit images of children online in May 2012.
The FBI on Wednesday did not immediately say whether Branson remains in custody or if he has an attorney.
A statement from the city says Branson was a project manager on the convention center project and his duties were transferred to another employee. Officials did not say whether Branson was fired or resigned.
