He's not ducking anyone--the word from San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro--firing back at State Senator Dan Patrick--who accuses the Mayor of going back on his agreement to debate the immigration issue.
"When someone is ruining themselves you just stay out of the way" Castro said when asked to respond the Patrick's video--which shows the Republican Candidate for Lieutenant Governor standing in front of the Alamo, claiming he cares more about the peoiple of Texas and San Antonio than the Mayor does.
"I've offered three dates in March regarding the immigration issue--and those still stand" Castro told 550 KTSA News. The Mayor said he will not take part in such a debate until after delivering the State of the City Address February 25th.
"It's clear Mr. Patrick has bigger challenges on his hands at the monent" Castro said--pointing the the GOP's Primary for Lieutenant Governor.
