A perfect score--the result of an unannounced inspection at the Bexar County Jail.
We're told inspectors showed up at the facilit Monday--and took a very close look at everything.
"We have seen an improvment in the overall operation and cleanliness--and there was not one concern, and we met all of the required standards" said Jail Administrator Raul Banansco. He told 550 KTSA News those findings are very important--with any problems potentially impacting the facility's funding.
"If there was an issue with any one of the standards--regardless if it was supervision, ratio of staff to inmates, that could have ebeen a security concern, and compormised the funding we recieve" Banasco said.
