Another big sign of stength in the San Antonio housing market in the numbers for sales in March.
The exclamation point a 10% jump in the average price of a home over the same time last year--putting it at more than $211-thousand dollars. San Antonio Board of Realtors Chair Missy Stagers told 550 KTSA News she expects that momentum to continue to roll forward--thanks in part to conintued low interest rates.
"As long as we're seeing that, and this low inventory that we have--it's really creating a strong housing market" Stagers said, adding what is being sold today is generally moving faster thorugh the market.
"Still about 75 days on market (the average amount of time a home spends on the market)--16 days fewer than March of last year" Stagers said.
