The MERS scare hits close to home--with four San Antonio-area residents undergoing tests for the mysterious illness.
The tests come after the four were discovered to have been on the same plane with a passenger who tested positive for the respiratory illness.
"We'll find out how they're doing. So far, none of them (have been ill)" said Metro Health Director Doctor Thmas Schlenker who told 550 KTSA News the tests have been conducted through blood draws.
At least two cases of the illness have been reported in the United States in recent weeks--with officials across the country working to track down hundreds of passengers and flight crew members who shared the same flight with a Florida patient who recently fell ill.
