The end of the Memorial Day weekend brings an increase in what most San Antonio drivers are paying at the gas pump.
"What we're seeing is the average price in San Antonio is upo by about a peeny per gallon over the last week" said gasbuddy.com's Gregg Lakoski. He told 550 KTSA News an increase in demand that may have come witht he holiday weekend could be a factor in the jump.
"It's difficult to say what could be the catalyst for such a modest increase" Laskoski said. However, he doesn't see the rise as the start of a long term trend, predicting prices could fall by as much as ten to twelve-cents per gallon by the Fourth of July.
