Tough talk from some tea party groups amid the tough questions from lawmakers for the IRS over the missing emails from some of the key figures in the scandal involviong the targeting of some conservative groups.
"At this point, the new Director of the IRS is being confrontational instead of cooperative" said fromer San Antonio Tea Party President George Rodriguez, adding "It's very, very sad... the disrespect this administration shows to Congress."
Ultimately, Rodriguez told 550 KTSA News the American people are victims of the scandal.
"This administration is extremely good at playing victimization with everybody--except for the taxpayers. The taxpayers are the victims in this situation--and they (the administration) really don't care about it" Rodriguez said.
Rerpresentatives from the San Antonio Tea Party have filed suit against the IRS in the wake of the scandal. They have been advised by their attorney not to speak about the proceedings,a nd declined our request for comment.
