Finally--with the Fourth of July holiday weekend in the rear view mirror, it looks as though we may start to see some relief at the gas pump.
"We actually saw a nominal decline nationwide in gasoline prices over the weekend" said Gasbuddy.com's Gregg Laskoski, even though prices in San Antonio did not move. Laskoski told 550 KTSA NHews a ten-cent drop in averages is possible in the coming weeks if everything stays quiet in the tropics and the Middle East.
He also said prices under $3 per gallon in parts of the area are not out of the question later this summer--despite the recent run up.
"I wouldn't rule it out. Toward the latter part of the summer, I think there's a reasonable chance we could see that again" Laskoski said.
