Will VIA finally give up on streetcars? That's the big question ahead of THursday Afternoon's Board Meeting, the first since the County and City pulled their support for the plan.
Many opponents know just what they want to hear.
"That the issue is dead--number one--and that the money is going to be re-distributed for streets and roads" longtime opponent George Rodriguez told 550 KTSA News.
Another opponent wants to see steps taken to insure the issue doesn't come up again.
"We want this thing still put on the ballot in November. We have the right to amend the (City) Charter to make sure nothing like this happens again without the citizens participating" said LULAC's George Alejos.
