He's not said if he's planning on making another Presidential run in 2016--but Texas Governor Rick Perry is clearly thinking about it.
The Governor is in Iowa for the fourth time in eight months Monday, as many high-profile Republicans continue to test the political waters, with the Governor appearing to try to take advantage of all the recent talk about immigration.
"He's come down very strong on immigration--bringing out the National Guard. I think that's helped him a lot with people especially at the more conservative end of the Republican Party" said University ot Texas-Arlington Political Scientist Allan Saxe.
While it is possible Perry could decide to make a run, Saxe told 550 KTSA News there are no clear cut favorites right now.
"So far in regard to Governor Perry, probably no better than third or fourth (choice among Republican voters)--but there are a lot of other political horses in the race--and none of them have broken away yet" Saxe said.
