Another week, off to another great start! My how the days fly by when there is so much to talk about.
Locally, the Trinity Diversity Connection is striving to have the words “Our Lord” removed from the diplomas issued by the university. After near laughing up a lung, I realized this is a true story. I find it rather funny, that these people have made it through grade school, and are now in college. I assume they attend their classes, and do their work, on a daily basis. At some point, I’m sure they had to fill out an application or two. However, it seems the only words these people actually read are on their diplomas. Forget the fact that these people attend TRINITY University.
This reminds me of those people who were suing the Boy Scouts of America, because the Scout Oath has the words, “duty to ‘God’, and my country”. How offensive is that? How dare someone expect me to have a duty to anyone other than myself! Who are these people, that want to join a PRIVATE organization, or attend a PRIVATE school, and then try to change things to their liking? It didn’t work out to well for those suing the Boy Scouts, I’m sure the TDC will be unsuccessful as well…at least we can only hope!
