Paxton Applauds Bathroom Ruling

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton applauds an appeals court ruling preventing the Obama Administration from enforcing a policy allowing public school students to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with.

U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor in Fort Worth issued his ruling late Sunday–which is likely a first of many steps in what could be a lengthy legal process.

In a statement, Paxton said he’s pleased the Court ruled against against what he describes as the Obama Administration’s latest illegal federal overreach. The Attorney General goes on to say the President is attempting to rewrite laws enacted by representatives of the people.
